Responding to Homeland Crisis

Overview

Set aside personal conflicts and past grievances when your homeland or core community faces destruction.

Steps

  1. Receive news of threat to homeland
  2. Acknowledge any personal grievances with leadership
  3. Assess whether personal pride outweighs collective survival
  4. Recognize that your value and reputation depend on the survival of your community
  5. Immediately set aside prohibitions or warnings against return
  6. Mobilize resources and return without delay
  7. Accept reconciliation with former adversaries for the greater good
