Operational Rules & Constraints

  1. Structure: Write exactly five paragraphs: one introduction, three body paragraphs, and one conclusion.
  2. Thesis: Refine the thesis statement based on any new evidence or information found.
  3. Evidence: Support arguments with evidence. If specific evidence topics are assigned to specific body paragraphs (e.g., "evidence #1 rifled barrels"), strictly follow that mapping.
  4. Citations: Use parenthetical citations within the text to indicate sources.
  5. Works Cited: Include a works-cited list at the end of the essay to indicate the sources used.
  6. Style: Write in a manner that is clear, complete, and persuasive.
