Evelyn Sterling and her daughter Emily disguise themselves as ordinary women to test Lesley Shaw, her future daughter-in-law. But Lesley is a nightmare—violent, arrogant, and cruel. She attacks them, trashes a store, and forces Evelyn to her knees. Worse? Lesley is already married, drowning in gambling debt, and fakes a sex tape to blackmail Benjamin. At the engagement banquet, the truth explodes. Her mask shatters.
