The Shadow Dragon Guard, Gu Yuan, was ambushed by Western barbarians. Just as her life hung by a thread, the War God of the Empire, Si Jingchen, appeared and saved her. After the rescue, Gu Yuan confided in Si Jingchen that there was a traitor within the Shadow Dragon Guard. To make matters worse, three sacred relics had gone missing. The Emperor issued an urgent order, commanding Si Jingchen to recover the lost treasures within three years. To fulfill this mission, Si Jingchen disguised himself as a scavenger. Unexpectedly, in the process, he had a chance encounter with Shen Yunwei, setting the stage for an encounter that would change both their lives.
