Due to a tragic car accident, Sallie and Henry, who were on the brink of marriage, became estranged. Under his mother's influence, Henry misunderstood Sallie's situation and believed she had abandoned him, prompting him to leave. Five years later, Sallie returned to Edostin with their daughter, Olivia, seeking specialized medical care for her. In the vast city, a chance encounter brought them together once more. The misunderstandings between them caused Henry to hurt Sallie, yet he could not suppress the passionate love he still felt for her.
