Twenty-four-year-old Cora loses her grandmother in a tragic accident, then accepts a deal from Hera: kill Hades, King of the Underworld, and her grandmother will live again. Sent to Hades with a hidden dagger, Cora discovers he sees in her the image of Persephone, the wife he lost 3,000 years ago. Torn between duty and forbidden love, she has 30 days to kill him before time runs out.
