Summer wakes in 1971 with no memory and a magic bracelet she doesn't understand. She decides to blend in by pretending to have lost everything, but lying about who she is means building a secret life; running black-market goods, healing the local police officer's mother, and falling for Louis Lane himself. The deeper she buries her past, the more dangerous it becomes. Enemies who've been hunting her are closing in, and the truths she's avoided are starting to surface.
