Sylvie Snow grew up in the Hawthorne household wanting nothing but an ordinary life, but her sister Vanessa has other plans. Jealousy drives Vanessa to sabotage everything Sylvie touches. Two men keep crossing her path: Ryan Quinn and Julian Zephyr, both mysterious in their own ways. When Elder Hawthorne throws a birthday banquet, secrets tumble out that reshape everything Sylvie thought she knew about who she is and where she came from.
