Joel Reed safeguards the West family from his wheelchair, only for the father and son to tear up their contract. Divine retribution strikes instantly, toppling the West household. The Harrison family begs Reed to save a member's life, and he leaves them a Buddha's hand citron, which triggers a fierce scramble among the five prestigious families. Reed departs atop a Golden Lotus, foretelling his return amid upheavals in the earth's veins and the schemes of an international consortium. In the next crisis, the fate of the entire city will be at stake.
