Louise spent years as a mercenary. Now she takes a different kind of job: marry Felix, a chaotic aristocrat drowning in vice and debt, and fix him. His mother is paying well enough. Felix fights back at first. Louise uses every trick she knows to bring order to his house and his life. They hate each other thoroughly. Then something shifts between them; the work of reformation becomes something real. When they discover they share a common enemy, they realize they've stopped pretending.
