Princess Lydia Vale is abandoned by her grandmother and rescued by a villager, but she has no memories of her royal past. A decade later, fate leads her back to the palace, where she unwittingly defies the emperor. He pardons her, drawn to an inexplicable familiarity. Her presence awakens jealousy in her adopted sister, who torments her relentlessly while her father, blind to her true identity, adds to her suffering. Just when all hope seems lost, the emperor arrives.
