Orphaned in a fishing village after his parents perished at sea, Chase was driven from his home by greedy uncles who coveted his inheritance. At his lowest, he awakened a gift that let him hear the voices of everything in the ocean. He met Liliana, a girl in trouble, and with sand crabs, sea turtles, and orca whales as his guides, they pulled rare catches from the deep and found Scarlett, a tavern owner who gave them a steady market. When his uncles schemed and local bullies pressed in, Chase struck back step by step, stumbled onto a sunken treasure, and built an aquaculture farm of his own. By treating the sea and those around him with kindness, he rose from nothing to become the wealthiest fisherman his village had ever known.
