Zoe had always been in love with her fiancé, Aaron, but on the eve of their wedding, Ellie orchestrated a rape and forced Zoe to publicly betray Aaron. After leaving Aaron, Zoe discovered she had cancer and tragically passed away. During a party celebrating Aaron's successful career, Zoe's childhood friend Natalie, who had grown up with her in an orphanage, exposed Ellie's true nature in front of everyone. When Aaron learned about Zoe's cause of death, he was filled with regret.
