Arthur has spent five years as a blacksmith, quietly funding his fiancee's education. When Elaine publicly rejects him for a nobleman's attention, the humiliation seems complete. Then Princess Guinevere arrives at his workshop, fleeing a forced marriage to a warlord, and asks for his protection. What she doesn't know is that the man forging her armor in secret is far more dangerous than any duke. When Archmage Merlin kneels before him, Arthur stops hiding.
