Ethan Parker has had the same dream for years. At a high school reunion, he spots Vivian Carter and recognizes her immediately; she's the woman from his nights. She finds him first, adds him on WeChat, and writes something that reads like a casual flirtation. Ethan assumes it's harmless. Vivian has other plans. What begins as a coincidence becomes a campaign. She knows exactly how to reach him, and she dismantles his defences methodically, one conversation at a time. By the moment he understands what's happening, he's already gone.
