Tyrant Adrian, age six, used his mother Lillian's mirror to see her being bullied in the modern world. He sent food and antiques to support her, then crossed over himself to protect her. Though Lillian had amnesia, Adrian and his father Caleb shielded her. Soon after their reunion, villains stole the mirror, allied with an ancient general, and tried to burn Adrian alive. Lillian and Caleb traveled back, saved him from the fire, thwarted the plot, and reunited the family.
