In Kingsford, Sydney Gage is the revered business Queen, while Ruben Cloud is a scruffy security guard. Ruben's son, Oliver, and his wife secure a rare chance to meet Sydney at a party, only to bump into Ruben on duty. To their horror, Ruben publicly declares his intention to court Sydney. But as Oliver freezes in embarrassment, Sydney steps up, links arms with Ruben, and stands proudly by his side.
