Lucas Taylor has figured out how to teach zombies. Not just control them, but train them, build something like loyalty in creatures that shouldn't want anything. He's got a system, a growing army, and an alliance with Dawn Base. Then things get complicated. Michael shows up, mutated past anything Lucas has prepared for. Worse, Eden wants what Lucas has built; they want his zombies, they want his power, and they're willing to take it. What started as survival becomes something much larger.
