Vivian is a simple woman who wants a test-tube baby, yet she accidentally carries the baby of William, king of the merfolk. Betrayed by her family and fiancé, she has no choice but to marry Willaim and go live with him in the Deep Sea Palace. The merfolk reject a human queen, and many noble ladies covet William. Vivian works hard to establish herself among the hostilities, and true feelings emerge between the couple.
