Zheng Xiyue's life is full of twists. After struggling under the strict rule of her stepmother and nearly dropping out of school due to a dance failure, she finds help in Qu Junmo, who helps her complete her studies. But after a one-night stand, they lose contact—until fate reunites them five years later at a club. She saves him from danger, but misunderstandings begin to cloud their bond. Forced into moving into Qu’s house to appease her parents, their relationship begins to warm, yet secrets linger. At a grand family banquet, Zheng Xiyue’s impersonation of her sister is exposed, and she’s kidnapped. As her past and present collide, love, lies, and danger push her to the brink.
