Cade committed tax evasion, leading to the death of a worker, and killed Zoe's father after threatening him to take the blame. In pursuit of revenge, Zoe underwent surgery to resemble Cade's daughter, Dina. After persuading Tessa to invest in Cade's company, she devised a plan that resulted in Jere, Cade's son, killing the real Dina while recording it. Ultimately, they succeeded in forcing Cade to confess, sending him to prison.
