Three years ago, Ralph Lucero was blinded and stripped of his powers by his master to learn compassion. Now, with his country on the brink of invasion by werewolves and vampires, Ralph reclaimed his position as head of the Apex Alliance and founder of the Night Legion. The key to invincibility was rumored to lie in marrying the Ice Saintess, Deena Sloan—his promised bride. Humiliated and ridiculed, Ralph must find a way to secure Deena's heart, restore his honor, and protect his homeland.
