Josh was sent by his master to find his fiancé. Though originally meant to marry the eldest daughter of the Owen family, he met Emma, the kind and resilient second daughter. With his extraordinary medical skills and martial prowess, Josh repeatedly resolved crises, healed Emma's grandfather, uncovered the truth behind Mrs. Fletcher's illness, and grew closer to Emma amid the turmoil. At the same time, as he searched for answers about his own origins, he uncovered the hidden past behind his family's disappearance.
