Rita spent two months in the hospital after an accident, but her husband, Neal, never visited. Her mother-in-law was cold, and her father only saw her as a pawn to benefit from the Jackson family's wealth. After three years in a loveless marriage, she finally woke up to the truth. She fired the selfish housekeeper, replaced the furniture Neal had picked out, and adopted a cat despite his allergies. She returned to work, starting over as a designer. Facing challenges from colleagues, she won a high-profile client and became a completely new person that Neal could no longer recognize.
