Olivia spent years keeping Adam alive. When fire came, he picked her sister Chloe and left Olivia to burn. She gets a second chance at the moment the serpent guards are chosen; she takes the brothers Chloe wanted and claws her way into power. Chloe retaliates by having her kidnapped. Adam chooses Chloe's safety again. But Olivia escapes and vanishes into legend, becoming the secret weapon of Jason Astor, the Serpent King and the family's deadliest enemy. By the time Adam comes looking for forgiveness, she's already become someone else entirely.
