A dragon who was betrayed in her past life wakes at the moment of her humiliation: the day her half-sister Jean was chosen as royal consort. She had given everything to help the king seize power, only to have him sever her wings, steal her child, and destroy her egg. Now she has a second chance. She finds an ancient golden dragon in the forbidden depths and bonds with him, bearing the most powerful dragon heir ever created. When the king's egg hatches a lowly black dragon, hers opens to reveal a rainbow Supreme Saint Dragon that crushes his whelp instantly. She takes her revenge: severing his wings and tearing away his false golden form before all the court. But her mate, the dragon she chose on impulse, holds a secret that will reshape everything.
