Medical expert Kayce returned home to treat his fellow villagers but faced accusations of selling fake drugs. His fiancée Paige stole half of his prescription, claiming that Kayce sold counterfeit medicine and ended their relationship. In reality, Paige colluded with factory owner Dustin to steal the patented formula and produce counterfeit drugs. After villagers were sent to the hospital, they shifted the blame onto Kayce. With his family trapped in the hospital and unable to help, he faced a crisis. At a critical moment, journalist Katie discovered that the cause was pollution from the factory, assisting Kayce in resolving the crisis and clearing his name.
