On her wedding day, Chloe Lewis, the daughter of a billionaire, is publicly humiliated by James' girl buddy Sarah Adams. When James condones Sarah's vicious antics, Chloe snaps. In a fiery act of defiance, she calls off the wedding then and there. The scandal erupts just as Chloe's mother, the formidable billionaire Beth Lewis, arrives with a staggering dowry and an army of bodyguards, ready to defend her daughter's honor and demand a reckoning.
