Lin Jiatai had a rather complicated background. His father, nicknamed "Emerald Serpent," was once a legendary gambling master, but his life ended tragically in the streets after being framed. Lin Jiatai himself was imprisoned for intentional assault. After his release, he used his exceptional gambling skills to exact heavy revenge on his enemies, only to realize along the way that an endless cycle of vengeance leads nowhere and the corrosive darkness within his own heart. Reflecting on his actions, he ultimately chose to abandon the newly acquired title of "Master Gambler." Instead, he decisively stepped away from the dark underbelly of the gambling world, leaving behind the chaos to build a peaceful life with his cherished family and embarking on a new chapter of life far removed from the shadows of crime.
