Kaelen was a noble until betrayal and exile sent him into the lightless abyss, where he awakened the Abyssal Demon Lord's bloodline. He emerges transformed, allied with a cursed serpent-woman, and determined to dismantle a system where human rulers hoard divine light to subjugate demons and beast tribes. When the magic altar shatters, an energy tsunami frees the starving warriors held at the borders. Kaelen must lead an unlikely coalition through the chaos that follows.
