Forget about blind farming of coins. In the game "Volobox" the familiar mechanics of platform arcade games are turned upside down. It uses classic level design as a tool to manipulate the player. The loot system is based on risk management. You know that one of the boxes contains a vital key for completing the level. The other boxes may offer a wealth of gold, rare equipment, or end the run in a cloud of smoke from a detonation. The problem is that they are visually indistinguishable. These boxes are also guarded by hidden enemies. To survive, you must break the boxes one by one, jump away from the enemies that pop up, and hope that the next box doesn't contain dynamite. It's a pure adrenaline rush, where your main obstacle is your own greed for bonuses.
