About this game

11 very different machines — from an honest biped and a worm to spiders, a monocycle and a wheeled cart. 110 levels with pits, boxes, ramps and ceilings, plus extra-nasty “Challenges”. Tune the strength of mutations, the size of the population and the layout of the brain, speed time up, save champions and load them back. Some advanced options open up for a short video ad. Earn stars and coins, unlock new robots and take every one of them to the finish. Evolution fails thousands of times — and wins anyway.

How to play

Pick a level and watch: the robots try to move, fall and learn. Every generation the best ones pass their “brains” to their offspring with small changes — that is how a gait is born. — Speed buttons (from x0.25 to x32) speed evolution up or slow it down. — In “Settings” change the strength and frequency of mutations, the number of robots, what the robot senses, the brain size and the training method. There is also a “How to train faster” cheat sheet with short tips. — Some setting values (fast modes, big populations, special methods) open up for watching an ad; the free options are enough to finish any level. — Cleared levels pay stars and coins: ★ — reach the first mark, ★★ — the second, ★★★ — your champion completes the whole map steadily. — Spend coins on new robots in the “Shop” (or unlock them for free by clearing levels). — “Save”/“Load” let you take a champion into a file and bring it back later. Controls: mouse or finger — interface buttons only, the robots do the rest.
