About this game

Collect fragments of memory and things from a past life: a playground, old pictures, forgotten voices. Each find brings back a part of you and opens an entry in the archive — the story of who got here before. But you're not alone here. A Carthead, a Cleaning Lady, a Rabbit, a Paper Man and a Moth roam the corridors. Everyone behaves in their own way: you can't look at one, the other goes to the noise, you just have to leave the third and never turn around. There are five difficulty modes — from free exploration without threats to Nightmare and Liminal, which still need to be unlocked. The flashlight runs out, you have to look for batteries, and the yellow zone on the map will indicate where there are more fragments. Bring the memory scale to the end, close your eyes, and maybe you'll open them from the outside.

How to play

Controls: WASD — walk, mouse — look around, Shift — run. F — archive of records, M — map, C — hints and archive of records. On the phone there is a joystick on the left, a swipe view on the right. Goal: The "Memory" scale at the top right shows progress. Collect yellow memory fragments and objects from the past — everyone raises the scale. When it's full, close your eyes and get out. What helps: - Map (M) — the yellow zone shows where there are the most fragments. - Hints (C) — open records about the inhabitants of the Backstage. - The batteries — the flashlight is running low, the spare ones are in the rooms. - Snapshots — each frame found adds an entry to the archive. What not to do: - Don't stand in the light when someone is walking around. - Don't look at the Carthead — he comes closer from a long look. - I heard footsteps or breathing behind me — don't turn around, leave. - Don't make any noise next to the Cleaner: She follows the sound. Start with the Free Mode to get comfortable, then move on to the Regular and Difficult Ones.
