How to play
Choose a side — white or black cats, and the difficulty level of the AI. Click on your piece to see the available moves (highlighted with dots), then click on the desired square. Rules for the movement of pieces: Pawn — moves forward 1 square (2 from the starting position), hits diagonally. Horse — walks with the letter "G". Bishop — diagonally at any distance. Rook — horizontally and vertically for any distance. The queen is like a rook and bishop together. The king moves 1 square in either direction. The goal is to checkmate the opponent's king: attack him so that there are no safe moves left. If the king is not allowed to move, but he is not under attack, this is a stalemate (draw). When a pawn reaches the last line, it turns into a queen, rook, bishop or knight. Gold is awarded for a win and a draw — spend it in the store on new sets of cat figures!
