Fortresses: War of Banners

Reclaim the kingdom of Esterval under the banners of the Order of the Lily! Connect your castles with roads and your knights will march automatically. Capture enemy strongholds, supply the front line and decide where to strengthen your garrisons. Fight through 100 stages across 20 lands, learn the basics through interactive tutorials and unlock three royal orders: cavalry, a protective shield and a dragon’s fiery raid. Earn stars for victory, speed and keeping your castles. Watching ads for extra coins is optional; the main campaign can be completed without them.

How to play

Your side is blue. Hold a friendly castle with your mouse or finger, drag to a neighboring castle and release. Knights march along this permanent route automatically. To remove it, select its source castle, select the road and press “Remove route”. The arrow beside a castle upgrades its rank using troops and coins. Royal orders unlock after winning battles 10, 20 and 30: select an order, then a valid target. Capture every enemy castle. Pause stops the battle; the map button returns to stage selection. On desktop, press Escape to pause and 1–3 to select orders. Unlocked stages, your best star ratings and coins are saved automatically on this device. An unfinished battle starts again from the beginning. Change the language in the bottom-right corner of the main menu.
