The main character is Nick Farrell, a technical engineer at the Delta Base complex, who is responsible for servicing power generators. During the performance of the next work shift, he finds himself in the epicenter of catastrophic events. At the same moment, a resonant cascade occurs in the Black Mesa research complex, opening portals to the world of Xen and allowing alien beings to enter the Earth. The player will have to go through the destroyed complex, face dangerous opponents, overcome numerous obstacles and try to survive in a world that is rapidly plunging into chaos.
