How to play
The goal is to capture or block all of your opponent's pieces. Moves: a man moves one square diagonally forward. Capturing is mandatory. Important: a man may capture in any direction — both forward and backward. Jump over an opponent's piece onto the empty square behind it; several captures can be chained in a single turn. King: a man that reaches the far row becomes a king, even mid-capture. A king moves and captures diagonally any distance, in any direction. Choice of capture is free: if several captures exist, take any of them — there is no "capture the most" rule. Within one chain you cannot jump the same piece twice: captured pieces stay on the board as obstacles and are removed only after the turn ends. A draw is recorded automatically — on threefold repetition of a position, or when there are no captures and no forward progress for a long time.
