Catlab

Catlab is a cat breeding game. You start with two alley cats and one incubator: put a pair into a breeding slot, wait out the timer, get a kitten. The pair's recipe decides which breed you get — a British Shorthair with a Persian yields nothing like a Maine Coon with a Bengal. Step by step you collect 70 breeds, from the Domestic Shorthair to the legendary Savannah, Caracat and Ashera.

About this game

The real intrigue is the pedigree. Ancestor genes stay hidden in fog until you run a genetic analysis, so you breed blind. Analysis reveals the ancestors, the pair forecast shows the odds, and inbreeding cuts a kitten's health: calculating beats guessing. Put valuable cats on the show pedestal — champions earn even while you're away. Rehome the rest for coins, send them to the biobank for DNA, or fill a client order for coins, crystals and experience. Profits flow into the Genolab — a tree of 19 upgrades: breeding slots, cattery space, recipe odds, a vet, gene boosters and a cryobank with cloning.

How to play

Controls: mouse or touch — tap and drag to do everything. Swipe or use the arrows at the bottom to move between rooms. Landscape orientation. 1. Cattery. You start here with a free pair of cats. If you ever run out, the shelter hands you a new pair. 2. Analysis. Tap a cat → "Genetic analysis": it reveals the hidden ancestor genes that decide which breeds you can get. 3. Breeding. Drag a female and a male into a slot in the Incubator, check the pair forecast for the odds, then start the timer. 4. Kitten. Take the newborn from the slot: valuable ones to the Cattery, plain ones to the Shelter. 5. Orders. Open the order board in the Cattery (button on the left under the room title) and put a matching cat into the basket. 6. Show. Lift an adult cat onto a pedestal in the Cattery — it earns income even while you're away. 7. Genolab. Spend coins and DNA on upgrades: breeding slots, recipe odds, a vet, gene boosters. Keep the feeder full: while it's empty, income and breeding stop.
