Block Party: Color Rush

The floor lights up with a colourful pattern and the target colour appears at the top of the screen. You have five seconds to find a matching block and stand on it. Then everything else pops — and whoever guessed wrong drops into the void.

About this game

Every round gives you less time, and the right colour gets rarer. The last one still standing wins. Ten little characters share the floor: you and nine rivals, each with a temper of their own. One dithers until the last second, one mixes up teal and green, one stands there confidently and still gets it wrong. And they love to gloat: emotes pop up above their heads after a good round, and especially when somebody falls. Unlock skins: panda, ninja, king, angel, devil, frog. Collect emotes and fire them back. Finishing in the top three earns rating, and rating is your line in the global table.

How to play

Desktop: WASD or arrow keys to run, space to hop, number keys 1-8 for quick emotes. Phone: swipe anywhere in the lower part of the screen and a joystick appears under your thumb. The smiley button in the bottom right corner opens the emotes. How a round goes: 1. The floor is blank and a countdown runs — time to get your bearings. 2. The floor turns into a pattern, and the target colour and timer appear at the top. 3. Find a block of that colour and stand on it. 4. When the timer runs out, every other block pops. Right colour — you stay. Wrong one — you fall. The first round gives you five seconds. After that each round is a quarter of a second shorter, and the target colour gets rarer on the floor. If you are knocked out, you can return once per match by watching a short video. Rating is awarded for first, second and third place. The winner is whoever was eliminated last — even if they ended up falling too.
