You can refresh the hero selection to change your options, then start each wave when ready. Drag heroes from the bottom panel into open slots to guard the base. Tap Refresh to cycle new hero choices, then tap Fight to begin the next wave. Keep enemies away from the fortress, watch the HP bar at the bottom, and prevent the base from falling.
