How to play

Winter Gifts is a 2D puzzle platform game about delivering gifts to people that you can play using the keyboard. Controls W/Up Arrow - Jump A/Left Arrow - Move Left D/Right Arrow - Move Right Spacebar/C/U - Pick Up/Throw Gift The goal of each level is to get the gifts to the people scattered throughout them. Both the gifts and people will spawn in different locations. The gift will count as received if it touches a person while in motion after having been thrown by you. You can choose the Speedrun option if you want to see how quickly you can clear all the levels. As the gift giver, you're able to run and jump quickly around the level. When you come across a gift, you can pick it up and carry it with you. You can only carry one gift at a time and when you're carrying it, your running speed and jump height will be reduced. You can deliver and move gifts by throwing them either horizontally or vertically while jumping. Gifts also act as solid objects that you can stand on and stack on top of each other. When a person is holding a gift, it can still be used as a platform. The main dangers are stranding yourself and running into spikes. If the latter happens, the gift giver will disappear and you'll have to restart. If the former happens, you can restart the level manually by pressing R. Gifts are unaffected by spikes and will sit in front of them. There are also moving buttons that you can press to make certain platforms disappear and gain access to new places.
