How to play

Tall io is a 3D isometric IO game about people trying to get tall enough to defeat each other using the mouse. To control your character, move the cursor to an empty part of the screen, hold down the Left Mouse Button, and drag the mouse around. To interact with the UI elements, move the cursor to them and click. Your character will automatically interact with anything they get within range. The goal is to get taller and be the last person standing. If another player knocks you out, you'll need to try again. Before matches start, you'll get the option to use any coins you've earned on cosmetics and starting stats for your character. After that, the match will begin, and you can start running. The field will be full of colored tiles, but you can only interact with those sharing your color or grey ones from defeated players. Each tile you collect will make you taller, represented by a number above your head. The taller you get, the more of the field you'll be able to see and the easier it will be to defeat smaller opponents. There will also be barriers that will give you power-ups like Magnet or increase/decrease your tallness when you run through them. Defeat all the other players to win the match. Between matches, you'll visit your hub area, which you can expand by sacrificing any tallness you've gained. The more your island grows, the more coins you can earn in passing by donating more of your tallness.
