How to play
Super Oscar is a 2D platforming game about a guy running and jumping his way through worlds using the keyboard.
Controls
Left Arrow - Move Left
Right Arrow - Move Right
Spacebar - Jump (Tap again for Double Jump)
Z - Throw Fireballs
The goal is to reach the end of the level in one piece. Oscar will start large but if he takes a hit, he'll shrink. If he takes a hit while being small, he'll lose a life. If Oscar loses all his lives, he'll need to retry the level. You can choose between a Classic mode of multiple worlds or go through the Level Select.
The main menu is where you can select which mode you want to play and visit the shop where you can improve different parts of Oscar's stats. Each upgrade will cost a certain number of stars which you can earn by completing levels. When you jump into a level, Oscar will start on the left side of the screen and the goal will be at the far right. As Oscar progresses, he can bump blocks from below to break them and collect coins or items. Spiral candy will restore Oscar's height while Flame Candy will give him a fireball attack. He can also collect coins floating around the area while avoiding or defeating enemies by jumping on them or throwing fireballs at them. Hazards like pits will instantly take a life from Oscar. If he reaches the sign at the end, he'll complete the level.
