How to play

Skateboard Challenge is a 2D skateboarding platform game where you control a skateboarder along a course using just the keyboard. The skateboarder will automatically ride, grind, and jump off ramps. To make the skateboarder jump on command, just press the Spacebar and they will jump in a large arc. The goal is to reach the end of the level while grabbing as many of the collectibles as possible. The skateboarder is sensitive and should they hit any obstacle, they'll fall off the skateboard and you'll need to retry the level. From the menu, you can choose any unlocked levels and skateboarders. The levels will unlock as you complete them, but skateboarders are unlocked with collected coins. When you select a level, your skateboarder will start riding from left to right. They can collect coins, the letters for SKATE, and the letters for COMBO to get a higher score at the end. You can jump to avoid obstacles like traffic coins and land on top of rails to grind along them. Power-ups like magnets can also be found to help you with riding and collecting things.
