How to play
Shadoworld Adventure is a 2D platform game that you can play using the keyboard or the mouse.
Controls
W - Jump (tap again for Double Jump)
A - Move Left
D - Move Right
To play with the mouse, you'll need to click the arrow icons on the bottom left and right sides of the screen (those on the left for moving, on the right for jumping). The goal of each level is to get the little shadow guy to the exit button at the end. Each level has a time limit for completion shown at the top of the screen.
As a platform game, the usual elements are present. You'll have ground areas at different elevations to jump to so that you can continue. There are stars scattered about which are the main collectibles and add to your overall score. The exit button is blocked by a barrier that can only be opened by a key that will be located somewhere within the level. Upon touching the button, you'll be shown your score and total stars before starting the next level.
There are multiple hazards that you'll need to avoid. The shadow guy has three hearts and so can take three hits from things like enemies and spikes. If you lose all your hearts, you'll have to restart the level. There are also skull blocks that break away a few seconds after you step on them. The most dangerous are pitfalls which count as an instant death if the shadow guy falls in.
