How to play

Rich or Poor is a 3D arcade game about walking and collecting cash to get rich using only the keyboard. To move the person left or right, you can use the Left/Right Arrow Keys respectively. The person will move forward on their own so you just need to steer them. The goal is to get rich by the time you reach the end of the road. Your wealth is shown as a bar above the character's head. If it ever empties, you lose and have to retry the level. When you start, the character will spawn at the end of a long road. As they start walking they'll face all sorts of collectible items. They are color-coded green and red. Green items are connected to cash and wealth so you should collect them as much as you can. Red items like bills and alcohol will drain your funds quickly. As your wealth rises or falls, your character's appearance will change. Once they reach the finish line at the end, they'll complete the level and be able to move on to the next one.
