How to play
Rescue Rangers is a 2D platforming game featuring two characters sharing the level and navigating together using the keyboard.
Player 1 Controls
W - Jump
S - Drop
A - Move Left
D - Move Right
Space - Swap Character (Solo Only)
Player 2 Controls
Up Arrow - Jump
Down Arrow - Drop
Left Arrow - Move Left
Right Arrow - Move Right
The goal is to help each explorer reach the exit door at the end. At the top is a timer that will tick down and remove stars the longer you take to leave the area. You must reset the level if the explorer is harmed or the timer runs out.
Before you start, you can decide whether you're playing alone or with another player. Either way, you'll be taken to the level select screen to pick any level you've unlocked by playing. Each level will spawn the explorers in a specific area where everything can be seen. From there, the explorers must navigate and unlock the path by manipulating objects. They must press buttons, pull levers, collect gems, and power lifts with batteries to reach the exit doors. Hazards like spikes must be avoided to keep the explorers safe. There may also be extra collectibles on the level, as tracked by the icons on the right side of the timer. When the conditions are met, the doors will open, and you'll win when each explorer reaches them.
