How to play
Mini Blocks is a 2D platform puzzle game about guiding a blob through levels using the mouse or keyboard. To make the blob jump, you have the C/Up Arrow/Left Mouse Button, and to trigger the blocks you've got the X/Spacebar/Right Mouse Button. The blob will automatically move in whatever direction it is facing at a constant pace. It will stop once it hits an obstacle and can change direction if you make it jump off the wall. The goal of each level is to guide the blob to the glowing blue portal placed in it. For an additional challenge, you can time yourself with the Speedrun option.
The main mechanic is being able to control the blocks. Levels will have arrangements of blue blocks that will be active or inactive. By pressing the right button, you can switch which blocks are in which state. Doing this allows you to remove obstacles, and create platforms, or walls to jump off so that the blob can continue the level. The blob will remain active while blocks are switched so timing can be a factor.
There are also hazards that the blob must avoid. They mainly take the form of bright red spikes that can be placed on any surface. If the blob comes into contact with them, it'll be destroyed and you'll need to start the level again.
