How to play

Microplastics Feeding is a 2D arcade game about a fish that needs to eat all the microplastics using the mouse or keyboard. The get the fish to change direction, click the Left Mouse Button or press the Spacebar. The fish will always turn at sharp 90-degree angles. The goal is to eat all of the microplastics in the area. If the fish runs into a solid object or a hazard, it'll lose a life and if it loses all of them, it's game over. When you begin, the fish will start on one side of the screen in a contained level with microplastics scattered around. The fish will automatically swim forward and eat any microplastics it comes into contact with. It's not restricted to pathways and can freely move in the open water, but will only ever swim directly left and right or up and down. Some bubbles contain arrows that will change the direction in which the fish can turn (clockwise or counter-clockwise). Once the fish has eaten all of the microplastics, the level will be clear and you can move on.
