How to play

Jewel Royal Saga is a 2D puzzle game about moving gems around to make combos using the mouse and keyboard. To move a gem, move the cursor over to it, hold down the Left Mouse Button, and then drag it to an adjacent position. The gems will automatically combine and fall to fill in empty spaces. The goal is to make matches to get a certain number of points, break certain objects, or match particular kinds of gems. You'll need to retry the level if you fail to reach the goal in the number of moves shown at the top of the screen. The main menu will take you directly to the level select screen, where you can play any unlocked levels by completing previous ones. Each level will display a board with a random assortment of gems arranged across it. To gather gems and earn points, you must make matches of three or more of the same kind of gem. Matches can be made in horizontal rows or vertical columns. The gems can only be moved into a spot where they will make a match. If matches of more than three are made, you'll gain an explosive power-up to destroy groups of gems, which can be activated in a game. You can also earn other power-ups by spinning the bonus wheel and completing levels, which will be stored at the top of the screen. The more points you earn before completing the goal, the more stars you'll earn.
